So I got distracted from my job search.

Hello,

I don't know if anyone is aware of this but searching for a job has got to be the most boring and normally depressing thing I've ever had to do. It is like 5 straight hours of scouring the deep, dark depths of the interwebs. When you finally come up for a breath of fresh interweb relief you find yourself trolling tumblr for an hour or my case, blogging.

Anyways.
I need to be more consistent with my job search. I've watched jobs that I really wanted post and fill within the time it takes me to fill out the application, fix my resume, and write a cover letter.
By the way, I seriously hate cover letters. I doubt anyone seriously reads them. (I'm certain that somebody does, eventually...) I just feel like you put in hours of work for the three seconds that someone looks at it.

I solemnly swear.... I will be more active in my active job search.

UHG.

Uhg,

As I peruse the potential employment opportunities on the interwebs, I've noticed something...

This just is not fun. I enter in "Recent College Grad" or "Entry-Level" or "Bachelor's" and it returns the search query with:

AWESOME JOB YOU'D TOTALLY LOVE. Required 4-6 years experience.

After this happening about 50 times... I just gave up for the day.

THIS CONFIDENCE KILLING, RAGE INDUCING & DREAM CRUSHING SEARCH MACHINE IS DETERIORATING MY WILL TO LIVE.

How I feel after 3 hours of virtual slamming doors.

I just need to keep on keepin' on though. I'm fabulous. Just a matter of time.

Day two of job search: Not exactly unsuccessful but not exactly successful.
Close enough.

I'M UNEMPLOYED.

Hello out there,

I am a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati.

I AM FREAKING OUT MAN.

Resumes? Professional clothing? Interviews?

A few things cross my mind. Obviously, this list is from most important to least important.
1.) I need a manicure.
2.) Should I pay someone to fix my resume?
3.) How long is my loan grace period?
4.) Should I just pretend that I don't need a job until my parents kick me out?
5.) This isn't a good start.

I'm mostly kidding about the list but I am in serious need of doing something about a career path.

xoxoxo,
Hannah
